Meet the Cows
Welcome to Fold of Liberty Farms! Here, we don’t just raise cows; we build friendships with them. Our cows have distinct personalities, and each one of them is eager to share their unique charm with you. Let’s introduce you to our lovely fold!
Scottish Highlands:
- Serendipity
- Born: August 2017
- Arrival: September 1, 2022
Hey there! I’m Serendipity, one of the original Scottish Highland cows here at Fold of Liberty Farms. I may be a bit sassy at first, but don’t let that fool you—I absolutely love a good petting session once I get to know you! I’ve had two beautiful babies here. My first, Shemish, has since moved on, but my second, Aiofe (Eee-fa), was born in June 2024. I think she’s crazy nice and just seems to want to snuggle with everyone.
- Jessien
- Born: September 2016
- Arrival: October 12, 2022
- Greetings, loyal subjects! I’m Jessien, the reigning queen of the fold and master of all things scratch-worthy. I arrived at the farm a bit later than my sister Serendipity, but I quickly established my royal status. My long, majestic horns are not just for show—they’re perfect for a good scratch. I have a regal air about me, but don’t let that fool you; I adore attention, especially when it comes with treats. I’ve blessed the farm with two beautiful calves: Annabelle, who’s a bit of a cheeky diva, and Moirya, who surprised everyone with her pristine white coat. If you’re looking for the queen of cuddles, look no further!
- Nan
- Born: Fall 2018
- Arrival: September 1, 2022
- Hi there, I’m Nan, and I’m here to make your day brighter with my beautiful brindle (red with black streaks) coat and my irresistible charm. I’m the social butterfly of the herd—if you’re looking for a cow who’s always up for a cuddle session, I’m your girl. My relaxed nature means I’ll let you brush me all day if that’s what you’re into. I’ve had two fantastic babies since arriving at the farm: Mangus, my handsome brindle boy born on March 12, 2023, and Orla, my sweet girl born on June 3, 2024. I’m always ready for a chat and a scratch, so come and hang out with me!
- Ruby
- Born: July 2024
- Arrival: February 2024
- Hey there, I’m Ruby, a new addition to the farm who’s already making waves with my relaxed attitude and love for affection. I joined Fold of Liberty Farms in February 2024 and immediately fell for all the attention. My coat is a rich reddish hue, and I’m known for following people around just to get some scratches. I recently had my first baby, Rufus Jr. (RJ), in July 2024, and let me tell you, he’s already a little charmer. I’m always up for a cuddle and a treat, so don’t be shy—come give me some love!
- Annabelle
- Born: October 2022
- Hi, I’m Annabelle, Jessien’s darling daughter and a bit of a drama queen. Born in October 2022, I’ve inherited my mom’s regal charm but with a playful twist. I’m all about the cuddles and can be a bit of a diva—if I see you giving attention to another cow, I might just push my way in for some extra brushing. I’m already preparing to become a mom myself around December 2024 or January 2025, and I can’t wait to share my snuggles with my little one. Come on over and give me all the attention—I promise I’ll make it worth your while!
- Mangus
- Born: March 12, 2023
- Howdy! I’m Mangus, the delightful brindle bull who arrived as a surprise six months after Nan, made the big move to the farm. With my brindle and silver mix, I’m quite the looker. I love getting petted and brushed, and I’m known to nudge my way into the spotlight if I see you giving attention to someone else. I’ve even let some little kids ride me with permission! If you’re here for some fun and affection, come find me—I’m always up for a good pet and a snack.
- Orla
- Born: June 3, 2024
- Hi, I’m Orla, Nan’s second calf. I was born in June 2024 and I’m still a bit shy around new faces. But if you’re patient and gentle, you might get lucky and give me a little scratch before I dart away. I’m learning to enjoy human company, and I’m sure that with time, I’ll become a pro at the whole cuddling thing. Come say hello—who knows, you might be the one to win me over!
- Maisie
- Born: October 21, 2023
- Hey there, I’m Maisie, and I’m the definition of a cuddle enthusiast! Born to Patches, our wonderful Black Angus and Holstein surrogate mom, and with my genetic mom being the fabulous Jessien, My name, which means “pearl” in Gaelic, was chosen to celebrate Vernon and Rhonda’s 30th wedding anniversary, making me a little gem of the farm.
- I’m known for my warm and affectionate nature—if you’re up for some quality snuggle time, I’m your go-to-girl. I’ll gladly take a nap with you after munching on a good snack. You can easily spot me in the herd because I don’t have the white belly like my genetic triplet sisters, Freya and Fiona. So, if you’re seeking a cozy cuddle buddy with a soft spot for a good rubdown, come find me. I promise, I’m as sweet as they come!
- Freya
- Born: October 21, 2023
- Hello, I’m Freya, the playful and spirited twin of Maisie! We share a birthday, and together, we bring double the joy to the farm. I’m the one with the curliest hair of the three genetic sisters, and my white udder makes me easy to spot among the herd. I’m all about following people around and soaking up as many cuddles as possible.
- When I’m not charming everyone with my bubbly personality, you’ll find me curled up with Maisie, catching some well-deserved Z’s. If you’re in the mood for a fun and interactive cuddle session, I’m your gal! Let’s play, snuggle, and make some happy memories together.
- Fiona
- Born: October 24, 2023
- Hi there, I’m Fiona, the slightly reserved yet equally lovable member of the “genetic triplets”. I was born to my wonderful surrogate mom, Bridgitta. She’s a Black Angus-Holstein mix with striking reddish bangs, and while she might not be a Highland, she’s been an amazing mom to me.
- I might be a bit shy compared to my playful twin sisters, Freya and Maisie, but I’ve got a heart full of affection just waiting to be shared. You’ll often find me enjoying a good scratch or a gentle cuddle session. I’m easily recognized by my distinctive white bellybutton, which helps me stand out in our trio.
- Despite my reserved nature, I love frolicking and playing with my sisters. If you join us in our adventures, you might find me snuggled up with Freya and Maisie, taking a cozy nap. I’m always up for a scratch and a cuddle, so come spend some time with us—I promise you’ll leave with a smile!
- Oatmeal/Gwenevere
- Born: January 2022
- Hey, I’m Oatmeal, though my official name is Gwenevere. I’m a White Scottish Highland with a story of my own. I was a bit shy when I first arrived, but now I’m all about the cuddles and brushing. If you’ve got treats, you might even catch me following you around with excitement! I’m expecting my first baby soon, probably in late September 2024, and I’m excited for this new chapter. Come say hi and give me some love!
- Aoife (Eee-Fa)
- Born: June 2024
- Hello! I’m Aoife, the newest calf of Serendipity. I’m a bundle of energy and absolutely adore being petted and brushed. Unlike my mom, I’m not shy about affection—bring on the scratches and cuddles! I might be a little shy at first, but once I warm up to you, you’ll find I’m quite the sweetheart
- Rufus Jr. (R.J.)
- Born: July 2024
- Hey there, I’m R.J, Ruby’s first calf! I’m a playful little bull with a love for scratches and cuddles. Sometimes I might nibble at your clothes, mistaking them for treats, but I promise I’m just trying to get your attention. If you sit down, I might just come and lay on your lap—nothing says “I love you” like a snuggly cow, right?
- Moirya
- Born: August 2024
- Hi, I’m Moirya, Jessien’s newest little one. I was born in August 2024 with a beautiful white coat that caught everyone by surprise. I started out a little timid around new faces, but now I enjoy gentle scratches and lots of hugging and loving. Just don’t offer me treat cubes yet—I’m still too young for those. I’m looking forward to getting to know you better!
- Clementine
- Born: June 2024
- Hello, I’m Clementine! I’m a unique blend of Highland and Black Angus, which gives me longer legs and a playful spirit. I might look a bit different from the other Highlands, but I love snuggles just as much. My mom is Blackbeauty and she is a grump, but I am not like her since I love all the attention. I may even come up and nuzzle you to get you to bet me more. Don’t take it the wrong way if I just come up and push right into your pet zone.
- Bailey
- I am Bailey, I am the newest addition to Fold of Liberty Farms, I arrived on September 5, 2024 and so far I really like this place. I have as much green grass as I can handle and the other cows are pretty nice to me. I am trying to figure out why these two legged animals keep trying to talk to me and touch me, it is scary. I hope they keep giving me treats though.

Others:
- Patches
- I am a great mom and I help my babies grow fast. I am not super protective, but keep an eye on people when they pet or brush my calves. I am half black angus and half holstine so I make a lot of milk for those babies and have a white udder. I will happily take treats from you, but I don’t want to be touched. I want to have another baby, but I have not been blessed to get pregnant again yet.
- Bridgitta
- I am a black cow who makes cute healthy highland caves. I am pretty protective of my calves when they are small, but I make good milk and take good care of them. I am going to have another baby in January so my goal is to get really fat so I have plenty of milk when the baby comes. I don’t want to be petted or brushed but I really like treats.
- Black Beauty
- I am a cranky black angus cow who is super sensitive about people. I think that all people are out to rope me or poke me with a needle. I would rather just have treats and not have anyone try and touch me. I have learned that some people are okay, but if I don’t know you I will snort or stomp at you. I just wish everyone would leave me alone.
- King
- I am actually the biggest red steer. Clifford is a year younger than I am and since I am a purebred red angus I will become the largest animal on the farm before I head to the pasture in the sky in March or April of 2025.
- Clifford
- I am a big red angus just like the big red dog. I was born in October of 2023 so I still have some growing to do, but I am growing about 1.5 lbs per day. Some people like to pet me, but I am still a little sensitive so only let the people I like come close.
- Milky Way
- I am about to be a first time mom in March of 2025, but I still like my snack time. Any time I can steal a drink of milk from any of those mamas out there I am going to take it. I look different than everyone else, but I am not self conscious about it. I think it is okay to have short white and brown hair. I am the biggest heifer at the farm and I like that. No one picks on me anymore since I got big. I hope my highland baby is super cute even though I am not the genetic mom. I will do a good job of feeding the new calf because I am a dairy cow and will produce more milk than any of those other little cows.
