Our Story
Utah Cow Cuddle has changed from people looking at the animals through the fence to a fun place to pet, brush, and snuggle with the cows. We work hard every day to make the farm an even more enjoyable place to be! Our goal is to help restore the earth while at the same time producing just as much or more human consumable food as a traditional farm.
It all started when friends, neighbors, and strangers would show up at the farm to look at the fluffy cows through the fence. We started to invited them to come onto the farm to pet and even help feed the cows. Quite often people would ask when they could come back and if they could bring their friends and family. Everyone seemed to love the fluffy, cuddly cows! After about a year we decide to create the “Cow Cuddle” events and allow a limited number of people to experience and love the fluffy highland cows just like we do.
Farming is a lot of work and we are making continual improvements to the farm. Every time you come you can expect to see something new and exciting. Improvements can cause inconvenience, expect to walk between 300 and 1,200 feet to meet the amazing cows.
Highland Cows are very calm, and loveable animals. Cattle have even been used in therapy to assist in creating feelings of calmness and connecting with one’s inner self.
Come reduce your stress and anxiety by spending some quality time with the cows today!!
Highland cows originated in the highlands of Scotland and were bred to be easily managed without the necessity of ‘cowboys’ to mange them. This makes highland cows much calmer and more desirable for cuddling and therapy techniques. This proves true with our cows today in their kind, loveable, and calming nature!
We are excited for you to come out and visit our fold of Scottish Highland Cows!!
